Today we're gonna be looking at a total of four different mirrors and I found these to be kind of the best fits for the Palisade. And they're all somewhat similar but there are some subtle differences that kinda separate 'em from each other. So these two here, these are gonna be made by CIPA and they're gonna have just a single lens on 'em, pretty similar. And they're gonna have these rubber type straps. more

And then moving over here, these have dual lenses, one of them has the rubber type strap, and then this one's a little bit different, this one has the straps that are ratcheting, and you can get a really good clamp on your factory housing. more

So, to kind of give you an example, so you can see I'm visible in our factory mirror, and one thing I like about the dual lens towing mirror is you can set up the small one in a way to where you can see what you're looking at through that as well, just kind of have a different perspective. more

CIPA Strap On Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Today, we're taking a look at our CIPA universal tow mirror on our 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. So as you can see with our factory mirrors, this is the view that you would get very close to the trailer, but as you're towing, it's really nice to have that wide angle, which brings us out to here, which helps when merging in traffic, tight parking spots, or just overall fall driving. So with the mirror itself, you can see it extends out past the original mirror. Now you can adjust it down, up, left, right. Which allows you to get that perfect fit of your lanes on your side, as well as seeing the trailer. So with these straps, you'll see here that it has two clips here that attach to the factory mirror. more

As I take a step out to my left, I'm going to start to become visible in the other two mirrors. Now, one of those mirrors is a flat mirror, that's going to give you a more accurate representation of what's behind you. Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the K Source Universal Towing Mirror. Part number KS3891. Here I am at the back of my trailer, you can clearly see me, but if I step away, you lose track of me. That's why our towing mirror's going to go come into play and when we're going to have the most benefit. We're going to have a clear field of view, whether we're going down the highway and we need to change lanes or if we're backing our trailer up or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Our towing mirror's going to feature full adjustability. We're going to be able to adjust the angle up and down, as well as left and right and even there's a small set screw on the back of the mirror here, if we remove that, we can actually take the mirror, pull it out and we can put it in wide ways for a wide angle view. The way our mirror's going to attach is, we're going to have two arms, they're going to have small tabs that's going to fit in between our housing and our mirror itself and a couple straps on the back that's going to keep it secure. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe we're going to be taking a look at and installing the CIPA Universal Towing Mirror, part number 7070. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you lose track of me, but that's where our towing mirror is going to come into play and where we're going to get the most benefit. We're going to have a clear view whether we're driving on the highway and need to change lanes, back our trailer up, or even pulling up at the campground. Now, our towing mirror's going to have full adjustment. We're going to be able to adjust the mirror to just about any angle that we need and even turn the mirror sideways for more of a wide angle view. Now the way our mirror is going to attach is it's going to have some small tabs that are going fit in between our mirror and the housing and then a few straps to hold it on on the backside of our mirror. Now even though our mirror is going to attach to our factory mirror we're not going to lose any adjustment. We're still going to be able to adjust our factory mirror to the full extent and be able to get that safe, perfect angle when we're driving down the road. more

So here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in our factory mirror, but if I step away you lose track of me. That's where our towing mirror's going to come into play. It's going to keep us safe and it's going to allow us to know what's next to us whether we're going down the highway and we need to change lanes, back our trailer up, or even pull up to the camp grounds. Now our towing mirror's going to have full adjustability. We're going to be able to adjust the angle so you get it just perfect to where we need to be safe going down the road. Now not only are we able to adjust the angle of our mirror itself, but if we come to this knob right here and we loosen it up we can actually extend our mirror out, giving us a more wide angle view. more

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe we're going to be taking look at and installing the CIPA Dual View Universal Towing Mirror, part number 11953. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you lose track of me. But that's where our towing mirror comes into play, it's going to allow us to have a wide angled view and see around us, and it's going to benefit us whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, back our trailer up, or even pull up to the campgrounds. Now our towing mirror has two different mirrors on here. The large flat mirror is going to give us an accurate depiction of what's directly behind us, while the smaller mirror here on the side is going to be a convex mirror, and that's going to act more of a spot mirror. Now both mirrors do have full adjustment of up and down, left and right, that way we can get the perfect angle and safely get down the road. Now the way our mirror's going to attach, is it's going to have four small tabs. They're going to grip the housing of our mirror, and then a few straps are going to come up from the back side. more

As you can see, I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. The difference between the two mirrors, the larger and the smaller one, is that the larger one is going to give us a more accurate perspective of what's behind us. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, diagonal, and side to side. more

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA Universal Bar Clamp On Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a small trailer or a camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror, but not the factory mirror. Now if I take a few steps in towards my trailers you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. As you can see it's not as extended. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees. more

Today on our 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror. That's part number 11953. Both the larger and the smaller mirror can be adjusted to most angles. You got our up and down, side to side, and diagonal. Over here, when it's in place, it's not going to interfere with the operation or movement of our factory mirror. We can even still fold it in. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Today on our 2013 Honda Sante Fe, we're going to show you how to install the K-Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror. Part number is KS3891. Here's a good example of the field of view difference we can expect from the K-Source clip-on mirror. Currently, I'm standing right at the back corner of a 25 foot enclosed trailer. As I step out from there, you'll see about this area is where you're going to start to lose me in that factory mirror. You should pick me up in my tow mirror, so that's going to give us some extra about five large side steps over with still some room to go here. You can imagine as you're making that corner and that trailer's coming around you, you won't have to stretch around or try to look out your window and see exactly where that tire or where those axles are. Now our K-Source mirror is going to do an excellent job to expand our view as we're heading down the road. more

Now if I take a few steps in toward my trailer, this is the view you get with just the factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, and can be adjusted to most angles. We've got our up and down, side to side, and even diagonal if we want. Over here you can see how the four tabs are not going to interfere with the movement of our mirror, we can even still fold it in. more

Today on our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe we'll be taking a look at the CIPA dual view clip on towing mirror, part number 11953. This is for one towing mirror so if you want one for the passenger and driver side you'll go ahead and purchase two. As you can see with our CIPA dual view towing mirrors and the factory mirror I'm right behind the vehicle and you can see me. I'll take a step out and then in the larger flat towing mirror you can see me, so if I was a trailer making a turn you'll be able to see your trailer. With the dual view mirror making even sharper turns or changing lanes the convex around the end allows you to see wider so it gives you a full range of views when going down the road towing your trailer. As you can see this is what our Cipa dual view mirror looks like installed on our Hyundai Santa Fe. Here are your factory mirror which you can adjust to see right behind your vehicle, you're towing mirror which allows you to see the trailer behind you, and this convex mirror on the end let's you see even farther when making wide turns and when pulling your trailer down the road, changing lanes, or whatever else. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Today at 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited, we're going to review and install Part Number KS3891. This is the K Source Universal Towing Mirror that clips on. Now we're going to back up to a relatively small trailer, and you can see the difference the towing mirror makes. If we look at the factory mirror on the vehicle, we can barely see the trailer. But when we take a look at our towing mirror, we can see a lot more of the trailer. So that gives us a good indication of what's going on in the very back. Now before we install our mirror, it's always a good idea to make sure your surface is clean first. That way you don't have any bugs, dirt or debris getting rubbed into the finish. more
